Diese Woche zwei Artikel mit Tipps für bessere Präsentationen. Kaiserslautern spielt darin am Rande eine Rolle. Außerdem die Frage, ob Content Curation nicht Zeitverschwendung ist.

11 Unusual Methods for Being a Great Public Speaker
"Prakash Panangaden taught me everything about public speaking. The first thing he taught me when we were in Kaiserslautern, Germany, for my “fascinating” talk titled “A Mechanically Assisted Proof in Category Theory” was ‘never go to the porn shops here. They will rip you off.’ I was 22 and Kaiserslautern was the worst city I had ever been to in my entire life."

How To Be The Best Public Speaker on the Planet

Gut gefällt mir der Tipp: ABV. Always Be Vulnerable
"Don’t put any thought as to WHY you are on the stage or how you need to be “better” than the people in the audience. You aren’t better. You’re simply the speaker."

Why Curated Content on Your Website is an Ineffective Waste of Time

Marcus Sheridian stellt die Frage: "Why the heck would I want to post other people’s content on my website??"

Was denkt ihr darüber?
